Adderall Xr Filer Brand Vs Aderall Filler Generic
(Newest replies first)

How do I find the fillers in the Adderall 20mg XR generic by Shire? It is not an authorized generic so inactive ingredients of one might be different from inactive ingredients of other. Very bad response to shire generic, hoping it is difference in inactive substances versus adderall suddenly being not good for me. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

You can contact Shire directly and ask them. They replied to me with the list of active and inactive ingredients. Also, Shire is the manufacturer of Aderall XR, the original and only real Adderall XR. However, they no longer manufacture the IR brand. They have given that to Prasco as their authorized generic maufacturer.
Go to your local library and ask for the 2015 edition of the PDR (physicians desk reference). They are mandated to list all ingredients in every pill.
I'm not sure what you mean that it's not an authorized generic. If a generic is available on the U.S. market then it has been legally authorized by the FDA.
Additionally, Shire doesn't manufacture a generic, they manufacture the name brand Adderall.
And the inactive ingredients can always differ from one manufacturer to another, they just have to pick from the list of substances that the FDA has on their list.
Can you please post back with more information? Such as what types of problems you are having? The markings on the ones in question?
