I have severe ADHD AND I NEED TO FIND A DOCTOR IN MY AREA WHO WILL TAKE ME WITHOUT Insurance I don't have any insurance right now so I'll have to pay cash. I live in Pittsburgh pa.

I currently am prescribed Adderall. However, I was just robbed. The person took my adderal too. I filed a police report. However, my doctor's office never gives you refills even with a police report. Can anyone please help me? I am so sick about this. I don't know what I am going to do.

I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you.

And due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist to have it prescribed and the fact that you don't have insurance is going to make most of them reluctant to prescribe such a medication.

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, anorexia and insomnia.

Do you currently have a PCP that may be able to refer you to someone?
