Adderall Blue Capsule 3060
UpdatedDoes this generic version have the same effect as the brand adderall? Just doesn't feel the same so far. Should I take more to regain the normal effects? Or is it just hopeless?

@Newton,
Generics can be tricky with regards to their potency. Not many patients are aware of this, but apparently the FDA allows dug manufacturers to have a 20-25% variability in the amount of active ingredients that they put into their generic tablets.
Although some generic versions can be better than others, I believe this is why many people don't feel like they get any relief from them.
I'm not a doctor, so I can't recommend taking any more than you're already prescribed... but it sounds like brand name adderall would be more consistent as far as its overall efficacy is concerned.
I hope this helps!
Not many patients are aware of the 20-25% variability in the amount of active ingredients BECAUSE IT IS NOT ALLOWED and you are woefully misinformed or, more likely, A LIAR! *The FDA requires generic drugs to have the same quality, strength, purity and stability as brand name drugs. One area they may differ in, however, is inactive ingredients.* You didn't need to state that you aren't a doctor. That was quite apparent by your ridiculous comment.
@Antney,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Although there's really no need to blow your top or call anyone a liar. I'm not here to misinform anyone, but I do advocate doing your own research on the matter before taking advice from someone who isn't a doctor.
The original post asks a very specific question "Should I take more to regain the normal effects?" - I believe this is something only their doctor can truly answer - from a legal perspective… hence my comment on not being one, but still wanting to offer them 'my opinion' none the less. Does that make sense to you?
Perhaps the following article (particularly the 7th paragraph *starting with "The FDA's rules..."*) will also help you better understand what I was trying to convey in my previous post about variability:

He is actually partially right. Check ANY reference you want. The F.D.A. DOES allow generic medications to be 8 to 10% "weaker" than the name brands, which should be woefully apparent to anyone who has taken any medication in both the bane brand and generic equivalent.
