HI, Carrot! Sorry about the heartburn, I know that can be very miserable.
And yes, virtually any medication can cause this, many of them increase the production of stomach acid. It's just something that happens when you're adding a chemical to the body to resolve a problem.

Have you discussed it with your doctor?
There's a good chance that you can take an antacid to help resolve the issue.
There is some controversy over whether heartburn is caused by too much, or too little, stomach acid. It could be a sensation associated with both cases, too.
If you want to evaluate this yourself, try taking a tablespoon of apple cider or balsamic vinegar at one occurence, and an antacid tablet at another: see which one improves your symptoms.
This is relevant because all stimulants, from caffeine to amphetamine, bind to necessary acids like vitamin C in order to be excreted in the urine.
(I cannot verify the following two comments myself, but supposedly):
If you do not have enough acid, the drug will build up in your system and be metabolized out the skin.
If you have too much acid in the digestive system, it increases the absorption rate.
More importantly, (this I've verified):
If your heartburn is due to too little stomach acid, it could be a sign that the biotic balance in your gut has been upset. You have both bacteria and yeast (a unicellular fungus) in your GI tract; the bacteria produce acid in which the yeast can survive in a vegetative form, but when those bacteria get killed off - due to antibiotics or an autoimmune reaction, etc. - the resulting alkalinity permigs the yeast to enter an aggressive reproductive form that can puncture the GI tract wall and infect numerous organ systems, up to full systemic mycoses.
While antibiotics and some form of immunocompromise are sufficient, stimulants can exacerbate the problem by using what acids are available and variably suppressing the immune system.
So, you may want to keep an eye out for seemingly minor fungal infections that could be an indicator of a larger problem, take magnesium and a good probiotic (I'd recommend Ultimate Flora, or another 10-strain 10 billion count that doesn't include a prebiotic, because those can encourage yeast growth)... and be sure to get lots of vitamin C.... but you know, it's probably just heartburn.
