Adderall 30mg Orange Pill

How long do the therapeutic effects of this medication last? Why mix amphetamine & dextroamphetamine as ingredients?

According to Standford Medicine, Adderall's duration of action lasts for around 6 hours. They go on to state that the extended release version lasts for 10-12 hours.

Additionally, Adderall's peak effects reportedly take place within 1-3 hours - but I'd imagine this figure would vary for each individual.

As to your second question, I don't know why they would mix the two different types of amphetamine salts. I can only speculate that each one picks up where the other falls short in some pharmacological aspects.
