Adco Bisocor 5mg Side Effects
UpdatedDoes this medication reduce pulse rate?

Yes, it can cause a lowered heart/pulse rate as a side effect.
This medication contains the active ingredient Bisoprolol, which is a beta blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions, its other side effects may include nausea, dizziness and hypotension.
The main thing you have to watch for is how much it's lowering your heart rate, if it's dipping below 60 beats per minute, then it is a concern that should be discussed with your doctor. It should naturally be lower when you are sedentary, but it should go up when being active.
If you are a high performance athlete, yours may be lower when resting and that may be normal for you.
Are there any other questions I can help with?

I am taking Adco-Bisocor 5mg every morning, but since I have been on the tablet I have gained weight could this tablet be the cause of the weight gain, as it is not my intake of food as that has not changed.
I started with Adco Bisocor in April 2014 for my high bloodpressure was 180/110. I was told to go for a check up and did so, the doctor said your blood pressurre is low it is very good. I felt very tired and a week later lost my consciousness and was admitted in the hospital with a pulse of 40. I was only tpld then that it could be this medication. Any treatment for the future/will my pulse increase. I stopped taking it. How long could it take to get out of the system if does get out! Worried +++++
Hi i have been taking adco-bisocor for YEARS, as well as micardis for high blood pressure, and crestor every morning of my life as cronic mediction - I have had no side effects, but one must be very carefull of other pills taken with your cronic medication, even though my doctor knows what cronic medication I am drinking, I always remind him when he prescribes something else for me like antibiotics etc. As some drugs do not react well with others.
