Acute Intermittent Porphyria Aip, Blood Pressure
UpdatedHi, I have Acute Intermittent Porphyria (AIP) and chronic hypertension, recently my BP has been in the 150s/ 110s and higher. My doctor placed me on Concor before and now changed it to Concor AM to help get it under control. I'm in my early 30s and need help with finding the right medication that will help with my BP and not trigger an AIP attack. My doctor and I use the American Porphyria Foundation database to research drugs that are OK but they dont seem to have long term effects.
