Accidently Took Antibiotics Wrong. Is This Bad?

I am prescribed 4 500mg ic amoxicillin to be taken all at once before any procedure. I wasn't aware that getting a tattoo was considered a procedure so I took them the next day but only took 3 and forgot the fourth one until three hours later. Is this bad because they werent taken all at the same time? I have a leaky valve and a murmur which makes and potential infection more life threatening. So naturally im very concerned. I have no signs of infection but will the antibiotic still work correctly?

No, taking one a few hours later shouldn't make a huge difference. However, in the future, you should always check with your doctor about what is considered a 'procedure' requiring you to take the antibiotic to be safe.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
