A Fib And Low Dose Aspirin

Xarelto 15 mg is prescribed for my non symptomatic a fib. I am 85 years old. I became dizzy, fell and was badly bruised on my right side and hip. No broken bones but drug makes me tired dizzy and tired; I hate it. I used to take low dose aspirin and have requested to go back to it. Before the new blood thinners came out enteric coated aspirin was the go to med. I had triple bypass 5 years ago, feel pretty well and just want to get off this drug. Anyone else feel the same?

Yes, there are many other people that feel the same way and had bad experiences with this medication. The complaints vary from issues similar to yours, to severe headaches, severe bruising, and general pain, all of which the FDA does list as being possible side effects.

Aside from Aspirin, there are also others available via prescription that you can try, to see if they work better for you.
