Zynapse 500mg

I have had a HEAD INJURY about 3 weeks ago. They gave me five head stitches, I got a CT Scan that told me I have a Minor Skull fracture at the left side of my forehead and a forehead blot clot as well. I was given medication thru IV for the next 9 days that I was admitted in the hospital. Upon discharge, I was instructed to take the capsule version of Zynapse. I've been taking it for around one week now and I've noticed I have an impaired vacuum hearing and then just 1 or 1 days ago I've notice my sense of SMELL is slowing going away. Are these two side-effects of the Zynapse drug? I am going to take it for around 3 weeks more and I need to know. Thank you.

Zynapse contains the active ingredient Citicoline, it is given sometime to patients who suffer a brain injury as it is believed to help with memory and cognitive function.

As to possible side effects, I am not finding anything listing this types of effects, however, this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult your doctor.

It is possible that the problems you are having could be caused by the brain injury itself.
