My mom has RA and since zorprin was discontinued, she is in great pain all the time. Is there any drug on the market that is like zorprin she can take. She is in need or help. Thx

Hi Rob,

Based on my research, Zorprin is a controlled release medication that contains the active ingredient Aspirin. Zorprin is just the brand name of the particular Aspirin that your mom was taking so you may be able to find a different kind of Aspirin for her that is also controlled release. Have you spoken with her pharmacy/doctor about your options? If not, I would definitely see if they have anything like Aspirin or other brands of Aspirin that would be of help to your mom.

Also, have you ever looked into essential oils, acupuncture, or light therapy? I've heard that those alternatives can be quite beneficial to those with RA. I've used essential oils and have had acupuncture treatment before for nerve pain so I just thought I'd mention it! The acupuncture worked great so if you can, I'd look into it. :)

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Zorprin Details

I hope this helps, good luck to you and your mom!
