Zoloft Side Effect Cross Eyed??
UpdatedHi I am 25 years old and I have been on zoloft for about 5 weeks now. I am on 75mg. I am on it for panic attacks. So the panic attacks went away at about week 2 on the medicine but around week 3 I started getting REALLY bad headaches that last all day. Then about a week ago the headaches sort of went away but now I suddenly feel cross eyed. It doesn't look like I am cross eyed though. I went to the hospital Thursday because I was so scared I thought i had a tumor or i was going blind or something and the MRI came back fine and blood work is all ok they said it could be vertigo and gave me anti vert which is a medicine to treat that. That medicine doesn't work at all for me I tried taking it for 2 days and I still have this weird cross eyed vision thing. It actually gives me a headache and hurts my eyes. I hate to even look around. I am trying to find out if this will go away soon since I am on week 5 I know this is like the main time when side effects happen. I know my doctor will change me to a different medicine if i tell her this is going on but I really don't want to get on a different medicine and deal with the side effects from that too.
UGHH I feel like every week is a new side effect with this medicine I am looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I can honestly cry just writing this because I feel so helpless. I never had depression or any kind of mental illness that I needed to be medicated for but the panic attacks I had last month were horrific and I always ended up in the hospital.
Thanks to anyone that has any info, I really appreciate it!!! :)

Hello, Breeze! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having.
As reported by the FDA, Zoloft is known to cause various types of ocular issues and visual disturbances. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight gain and the headaches you experienced.
However, usually around 4 to 5 weeks is when they start improving and eventually go away, so if you're still experiencing them, you may need to switch to a different medication, even though you're reluctant to do so.
Is there anything else I can help with?
