Zofix (Cefixime) is in a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics and is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Particularly, infections of the respiratory tract (eg. pneumonia), urinary tract, ear, nasal sinus, throat, gonorrhea, and more.
