Hello LauraG,
In laymen's terms the Zimmermann-Laband Syndrome, also known as the Laband Syndrome, is when a defective gene is located on an autosome. Some of the common side affects of this syndrome include nail displasia (flaking, cracking and poor development of nails), joint hypermobility (being able to move joints far beyond the normal capabilities), hepatosplenomegaly (the enlargement of liver and spleen), ears and nose are abnormally large and underdeveloped and sometimes mental retardation can occur.
I hope this information helps.
Re: Kevin (# 1)
I have none of these symptoms. However, I have requested on two separate occasions to answer a question regarding a Ultra Sound and Vaginal Ultra Sound not seeing a mass on my right groin area.
I had a large pink bubble protrude from an old hernia site where is a mesh, severe pain down my right leg causing me to fall, causing severe pain with any movement down from my waist. What could be causing the Ultra Sounds not seeing this, and what could this be?
Re: LauraG (# 2)
Do I have any answers to my question regarding no results visible from both Ultra Sounds of my abdomen?
Re: Kevin (# 1)
I am awaiting an answer to my inquiry regarding no results from Abdominal Ultra Sounds both regular and vaginal and not having any visible results. How is this possible? A cat scan showed intestinal areas of thickening, possible blockage, soft tissue of the rectum, etc. What is the resolve?
