Ziac Drug Availability

Is there any reason why name brand Ziac has been unavailable for the last 8 months? I was on the 10/6.5 dosage and it worked perfectly. The generic does not work as well with negligible results. I contacted Teva and all they say is it's on long term back order.

I can't find any information on the shortage, they aren't required to report it to the FDA, so there is nothing listed there.

Have you tried any alternative medications?
