Thanks for your email.I was prescribed the drug norvasc , but it caused swelling in the lower legs & feet, I was taken of norvasc & prescribed Zanidip which I have been taking for around a month, This was causing headache & blurred vision Tiredness &making me feel quite nauseas . I was making mistakes with judgment & cut my fingers on circular saw & a cut in the arm with a chisel.I have been working with machinery all my life with very minor accidents. I went back to my doctor today & have been put on coversyl +. I have been taking coversyl 5mg as well as other blood pressure Medication For A lot of years. I hope this works.
I was asked to provide my geographic location forgot ad that to the last comment. I live in Tasmania Australia
I was taking Zanidip for about a week. I can endorse what August61 said. Blurred/double vision, tiredness and nausious. I definitely should not have been driving. I went off it and it took me around 3 weeks to regain my vision.
I als on agree was given this first by GP some months ago and had same reactions as mentioned -then cardiolgist wanted me to try again-3 weeks same as before as well as heart racing- i had previously been on coversyl similar reaction-
I have been on Norvasc for many years for high blood pressure. My GP has recently changed it because of ankle swelling, to Zandip. Have only been on it three days and already I am very tired, have muscle fatigue, mistakes with judgment, knocked over my bedside glass of water last night and a cup of coffee this morning. My eyes feel and look glassy/teary. Heart racing also.
