I've been on Zubsolv for a total of 5yrs. The 1st time I lived in Pgh., then Cleve. I went to two different docs in Arizona. And Arizona has never heard of them. As I was moving to Cleve the docs in Arizona just started hearing about Zubsolv. They work great for me and taste a lot better than Subs or Subutex. I got Subutex in Arizona.

My dr told me they were equal to an 8mg strip. Although. I was wanting off all of it all together and told him most of it was in my head so he may said that to wing me down a bit. I like them much better. I've been in suboxone for far too long and I just want off all of it. I'm positive I'm strong enough, it's just that ritual or something. Idk?? We have tilled about getting the shot but I do not have an issue wit drinking at all never have and would like to be able to have a glass of wine with girls still or a Long Island tea at the comedy show. Can I get any opinions on that??

Okay I'm starting to believe this is a smart forum. I went from 2 years on a nice white, round 8/2 pill generic to Zubsolv. It did take about a month, but with the benzos, gabapentin, and cymbalta… without any drinking or alcohol and I feel great every morning. Wach what you read on here

This is another way that buprenorphine can be manufactured and the drug companies are making MILLIONS. There is no reason that the Sub 8/Nal 2 should have been approved. Lessening the dose a couple of milligrams is just another way for them to put another buprenorphine project on the market for the sheer $$$. I would tell the MD that the drug wears off quicker (it does), and the lesser dose puts you in a state of withdrawal and you want to be put back in the 8/2...tell him that it is FAR LESS EXPENSIVE and far more EFFECTIVE than Zubsolv--and you can't afford it. Period. They have made a fortune thanks to "we opiate addicts" and it's a crime...something needs to be done.

Zubsolv is TERRIBLE. It's nothing like subutex or suboxone at all! As addicts the stimulating feeling we get from the drug is a big part of it working towards recovery. As an addict when i did dose it was with whatever drug was around, mostly opiates. The "euphoric" feeling helps satisfy your body and mind needs which for me was the first step on a long road to recovery. Not to mention if your taking illicit drugs you never know what your gonna actually get. Personally having taken subutex, suboxone and Zubsolv, the first two are great but Zubsolv is bulls***. If they have any good reviews its probably someone from their company...good luck with everything. I wish you the best.

Yea dude I've been on suboxone generic tabs for 3 years (with a couple klonopin, they have been very therapeutic) BUT ive been switched to this bulls*** Zubsolv 8mg equivalent. There is no euphoria, no energy, I get grumpy, and most of all I just get tired and hungry. If I take a nap, I'll be in full withdrawals in the pm. This medication is, as of now, just keeping me well for a slight time from not having the medication itself. I'm pissed, I won't have any Zubsolv for tomorrow, then I see my apathetic a**hole doc the next morning. I gotta see wtf I can pay out of pocket bc unless my body gets used to this zub-s*** fast, its time to waste another great summer getting off a medication.

I've been on methadone, then sebutex, then suboxone, then zubsolvs, then back to suboxone...I am currently prescribed Three 8mg strips per day. Prior to this i was taking Three 5.6mg Zubs per day. I must say the suboxone is stronger, but the zubs will still keep you feeling okay. There not as bad as to think you will take them and still feel sick.. like some people claim. The zubs were designed and marketed to be equivalent to an 8 mg suboxone but in my opinion they do fall a little short, but not much.

I feel exactly the same. Took subutex for over 2 years then forced to switch to this Zubsolv garbage and it feels as if I haven't taken anything since my last dose of subutex, this stuff might help some ppl but it doesn't work for me. Now I'm stuck with it AT LEAST for the next 3 weeks and have no assurance I'll get switched back when my next appt comes around. I'm definitely calling my Dr and addressing this before going back because I'm not gonna continue paying for something that's not working.

Chris, i simply agree, i have been on 8 mg films for 2 years. Last month my doc had to switch me to zubsolv, because of my new insurance, (go figure) don't fix something that isn't broke, but anyhow, I've been on the 5.7's zubsolv and I can tell a BIG difference between sub 8 and zubsolv 5.7, meaning zubsolv isn't near as strong and I agree dosing should be adjusted. I was on 2 1/2 films a day, now I'm on 3 zubsolv's, but it does take more of a dose in my opinion but everyone is different. I honestly dont mind them, they r 35$ cheaper for a month supply (for me) but all around I guess tomorrow morning ill have to tell the doc to up it to 4 - 5.7's a day or 3 - 8.6's. If anyone has experienced this or has had the next dose up from zub 5.7 please share ur thoughts and opinions.

Orexo's claim that 5.7 mg of Zubsolv is equivalent to 8 mg of Suboxone is BLATANTLY MISLEADING. The data that they use to support this claim is comparing the Zubsolv tablets to the Suboxone tablets, NOT the films, and studies that have compared the efficacy of the Suboxone films vs Suboxone tablets show that the bioavailability of buprenorphine from the films is significantly greater than from the sublingual tablets, in the range of 16-28%. So despite what Orexo claims most people switching from Suboxone films to Zubsolv tablets will need to adjust their dosage.

I was addicted to pain pills for about 5 years. Taking 10mg handfuls like candy. I tried suboxone, hated it, then relapsed. For a few days short of a month I have been on 5.7, 3 times a day with maybe a day or 2 without because the doctor was a m****. Anyways. I love it it made me happy I haven't craved a Vicodin in a long time. So much crap went down with this doctor I won't be going there anymore. I was supposed to get a refill today. I was getting them a week at a time. Now I'm getting nothing. I tried calling other places....way too much $ for me to afford and I'm in the middle of getting Medicaid as we speak, they aren't accepting new patients or I have to stay overnight. I can't I have pets and three jobs and school. Anyways long story short. I am gonna try being straight sober. I'm worried since I just quit like that I will withdrawal. And I'm gonna try my hardest not to relapse. I don't want to live like that anymore. So since I barely have taken it a month do you think I will be ok??

I was wondering from anyone that is taking zubsolv.
Have you had the problem of losing your coronations.
Let me explain. A couple of times when was driving, I would be veering off the road & not realizing what I was doing. It scars me. I ran a 18wheeler off the road yesterday & I had the feelings of not being scared at all, at the time.

The 8's with the arrow are 8mg,ha ha ha. Work like they are 2mg from Hi- Tech Pharm. Try to get off the Nalaxone rich zusolv it's useless. Try and get your Roxanne Tex back...

This is wrong!! Zubsolv ingredients works more efficiently absorbing more of the medication then the subs.. Zubsolv is actually an improvement over Subs because it's more efficient , absorbs quicker, dissolves and tastes better. When giving blood test off patients of both Zub and Sub patients both had around the same amount in their systems!! So no they do not have to take the extra! I was on Subs for a year then insurance switched me to Zubsolv and I've been on them for 2 years and would never go back!! But Google and do your own research and you will find out yourself or ask a doctor

I tried suboxone films and the orange pill. The taste before and after made me sick. I wasn't keeping it under the tongue the whole 15 mins so the doc said I wasn't getting the full affect, suboxone gave me the worst headache and caused me to clench my jaw. So my teeth ached, headache was the worst..and on top of not feeling good I still had mad cravings for oxycodone .. Or that high feeling .so my clinician suggested Zubsolv...I have been in it for two months now and it works great I feel wonderful no headaches, decreased body aches and no sweating perfusely like I did on subs. I couldn't do anything with out beads of sweat dripping off my forehead and body odor.. Terrible. But now I have none of those side effects. Except occasional constipation. Zubolv has a unique taste. Actually really good mint. It dissolves 10 mins faster. Takes only 5 mins but they recommend u keep it there for 15 to get the absolute best effect....so if anyone is having side effects from suboxone please try zubsolv.. It's a great alternative.. A little pricey. $32.86 for 14/tabs.. But feeling good makes a huge difference.. Good luck.
