In all honesty I would Google that question okay because let's see a Xanax stays in your system for 7 days I think Valium from not sure Klonopin the same thing 72 days Klonopin and Xanax do come up as two different pills even though they both have benzo but it will show up as you taking two different kinds of pills. I just found out right now that Valium stay in your system for 30 days good luck with everything

I am on suboxone and my Dr. has ordered a pain management drug screen that screens for 11 substances. Does anyone know if this test can tell what kind of benzos you have taken or does it just show a positive result for benzos

OMG! So sorry hon that's just an awful thing to do to you! That was a hurtful, selfish thing and look what it's done to you! I am so sorry and I know after 18 years my words will probably not really help but please don't let it ruin the rest of your life. Those types of meds are all benzos. Xanax is short lasting 2-3 hours of comfort. Klonapin is longer acting in your system. I personally like my alprazolam. Only because ive been on them for 18 years. I found my husband hanging in our basement. So I have PTSD along with other crap

Clonazapam (Klonopin) has the longest half life of any benzodiazepine. And therefore stays in your system the longest. But to answer your question, yes. It shows up as a benzo.

As to what they show up as, it depends on the type of test. If they are using a test that just checks for the presence of Benzodiazepines, then all would just show up as that.

However, there are tests that can check for the specific ones and, in that case, Xanax, Valium and Klonopin would all show up as specifically what they are and their individual metabolites.

Christopher, Benzodiazepines are actually the most problematic for urine tests, because they can actually be detectable for up to 6 weeks, after taking them.

There is really no hard and fast rule on the time frame, because it is also going to be affect by your individual metabolism, the fact that you aren't a chronic user, your overall health and various other factors.
