Yellowish Oblong Pill Scored T5 On One Side Squiggly Lines On The Other Side

Friends visiting from Europe gave me a couple of pills. They are yellowish oblong maybe peach in color, scored T5 on one side and squiggly lines on the other side. They told me it was for back pain but I'm hesitant to take it without knowing what it is. Can you help?

Hi Mike,

I actually came across a very similar pill that seems to fit a good portion of your description. It's a yellow oblong tablet, approximately 16.00mm in length. The front of the pill has the letter "T" imprinted on the left side of a score line and on the right side is the number "51". On the back the pill there is a logo of a cursive "W" in a box, which from your description sounded like it could possibly correspond with the squiggly lines.

This particular pill is identified as Talwin NX; containing the following active ingredients: Naloxone (0.5 mg) + Pentazocine (50 mg). It's a narcotic analgesic, commonly used for chronic pain relief.

It's been weeks since my question. I'd lost hope on an answer. So thank you so much ! Your accessment is close. It is for pain ( I was told) some one else told me the. "Squiggly" lines looked like the symbol for "Omega". In the absence of any other facts yours is the prevailing theory. Thank you again for taking the time to help me.

Hi, did you ever find out what this pill is? Someone gave me the same pill and I've searched everywhere I can't find it. They told me it was Percocet but I would like to know more. It is not the talwin, that pill is different.

Maybe it's a hydrocodeine instead of a codone....they make one u can get from the pharmacist u just have to ask

The pill is Tramadol 37,5mg / Paracetamol 325mg.
Tramadol is a fully synthetic painkiller opioid.

The "Omega" symbol is the logo of the company "Grunenthal".
