Yellow pill with 5 points to it. Nothing on the back of pill except a line through it like to cut it in half and on the front of the pill there is some sort of imprint but can not tell what it is (it is a very faint imprint)

Hello! Very sorry about your loss.
I can't be certain, without knowing the logo that's on it, but I think you may have found a 0.5mg Requip tablet. There is one that matches this description and it has a very hard to see logo on it. Requip is most commonly used to help treat Parkinson's Disease and RLS.

But as I said, I can't be sure, so this is just a random stab based on your description.
The best thing to do would be to just dispose of it.
