Yellow Oblong Pill With P V 1 7

Could be an animal medication. The pills are oblong, yellow and scored with one side imprinted 1 - 7 and the other side imprinted P-V. Could you please tell me what they are before I dispose of them? May have been for my Bishon.

Yes, it contains 100mgs of Cefpodoxil which is an an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections in dogs.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, skin rash, and diarrhea.
