The pill is round, approx 8mm across and 3mm width. It is marked 5mg on one side, with a large capital A on the other side. There is no score line to split it in half. Any ideas what it is?

The closest match I can find is Alendronate (5 mg), which is a white round pill with an A on one side and a 5 on the other. This medication is used for osteoporosis and several other bone diseases.
