Yellow Norco Tablets

Is there anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area (200 mile radius) where I could get Yellow Norco 10/325, produced by Watson? I was told by Watson customer service that the yellow are no longer made, and that there is absolutely no difference. After reading comments on different medical web sites, it seems that many are having a miserable time of it, and several mentioned Walgreen's as having the yellow tablets. If this is not possible, what other drug might have the same properties? My doctor is OK with trying something new, but he's Kaiser - with 1,350 patients. He just does not have the time to research what may or may not work for me!

Dear Verwon,
I will see if my doctor will let me try Percocet, and many thanks for the suggestion!
Must admit, I'm really confused. Someone gave me another pill to try also yellow - marked 36/01, plus the letter V. I looked it up first, and exactly the same 10/325 appeared. Except it knocked me for a loop! What do you think is going on with these pain meds? The wonderful thing about Norco was that it took away most of the pain plus gave me energy. The new Norco takes away the pain, but also leaves me off balance and weak, like my legs will collapse under the weight of my body.
Although this chat line is a great service, is there any action that you know of that might produce results? Something one can DO?
Hello, Ann! How are you?
That is correct, the yellow ones are no longer being manufactured, any pharmacy that still has them is just selling out whatever stock they had leftover, before they were discontinued.
Watson claims to have only removed the dye from them, but there have been many reports that other changes seem to have been made, because they no longer work as well for some people and/or cause strange side effects.
Have you ever tried Percocet?
Similarly to the Norco, it combines a narcotic, in this case Oxycodone, with Acetaminophen to relieve pain.

It can also be habit forming and may cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
