I got my tonsils out last tuesday (I live in Spain) and the doctor prescribed Paracetamol 1gm and Nolotil (Metamizole) 575mg to be taken ever 8 hours on alternating 8 hours. I have been taking Yasmin for a few years now with no problems. But, starting 2 days ago I noticed some spotting, today I put in a tampon to make sure of where the blood was coming from and it seems to be now a little more than spotting. I am wondering if this is an interacting with any of the medicine listed above or a combination of them, or if it is something I need to be worried about. Thank you.

Spotting can occur with oral contraceptives, especially when you've undergone such stress and trauma, like your recent surgery.
However, it would be best to consult your doctor to be certain.
Did they give you an antibiotic before or after surgery? If so, that may have caused it.
