Xifaxan Bloating (Top voted first)
UpdatedI stopped taking Xifaxan. How long until the bloating goes away?

Xifaxan is an antibiotic, and its other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
It may take a week, or two for the gas/bloating to fully go away, depending on how long you were taking it.
Are you on any other medications?
You might try taking probiotic capsules such as Florastor since that brand is able to survive the onslaught of antibiotics on your system. It's important to keep the "good" flora in your digestive system and could help to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
