I am going oversesa tomorrow and my doctor changed me from Cartia to start today on Xarelto for the duration of my trip and then return to Cartia after a couple of days when i am home.My question is i took the 1st tablet this morning around 8am wIth my breakfast by 10 am i had pain in my left leg at the back probably say calf area.
If this is a normal reaction thats fine just checking because of flying tomorrow i had a walk with support stockings and it felt better just still fèel it off and on while I am sitting down looking forward to hearing from you

Why the switch? They treat different conditions and can actually both be taken, together. What condition is being treated?
At this point, given the switch, it is hard to say if this symptom is due to stopping one medication, or starting the other, according to NIH reports.
How long is your flight?
