Xarelto And Shingles

Ive been taking Xarelto for 2 months for PE and DVT behind my right calve.

Last week ive been diagnosed with Shingles behind lower back and inner thigh.

I believe they are related. Xaretto as a blood thinner reduces vitamin k which is needed to suppress the dormant virus from coming out of the body

If you have a rash and its burning with lower back pain, you also might have shingles

***Shingles is very very painful

That is not a side effect listed in the FDA reports, but it has been known to cause a skin rash, skin blisters, allergic dermatitis, and hives.

Is this the only medication you are currently taking? Who told you it was shingles, was it a general practitioner, or a specialist?

Er doctor than my primary dr.

My body was in a low immune state with PE and the opportunist viral shingles came out.
