Xanax And Valium Show Up Differently In Urine?

After a horrible disabling accident years ago I've been on a Pain regiment and Valium for PTSD...2 separate Dr.s and the one who prescribes the pain meds has urine tested each month. I recently found I have dangerously high Blood Pressure Systolic above 160 and Diastolic above 110...Been addicted to Dr. Pepper and Cigs so all the caffiene and tobacco have hurt. Here's my question: A Dr. won't see me for the BP issue for another week and having an RN as a relative...I was told to take extra Valium since it helps lower the BP... I had some extra saved back that are now gone and a friend gave me 3 Xanax. I might be able to get 5 more until my BP appt. I'm scared about BP but also do not want my Pain meds denied because I was told Xanax and Valium show up differently in a test even tho they are both Benzo's. Can anybody confirm this with true knowledge and how long do they stay in system if it shows I am taking Valium and Xanax? Thanks

It depends on the type of test they do, there is a basic test that will just show the presence of Benzodiazepines, but there are more involved tests that can tell the exact ones that you took.

As to how long they are detectable, all Benzodiazepines can be detectable in urine for approximately 6 weeks, after last dosing.

How did you discover your blood pressure was that high?

It would be very unusual for a doctor to get that high of a reading and not put you on a medication immediately.

Im in rehab&get tested twice a week.I take 2mg xnanx 3times a day but I got some valium.I want to take them but scared cuz they do send the tests out.will it show up just as the benzo or be different since its valium.one time only 10mg.

what test will show valium and zanax in the system by name not just in the same group could you give me the name of test and cost my son had a test done for probation it showed valium and xanax he has a script for zanax

I have a important question. I've been on pain meds for about 6 years now for knee and back issues (Norco and percocet). Well I know the pain meds are not exactly good for your body especially your liver. Ok to the question, when I get urine tests at my doctors office ever 6 months does he also check my liver count or just the meds? Thanks.
