Xanax And Valium Prescriptions

Since I've filled my old script of Xanax, I now want to switch to my new script of Valium? Both are dated for the same day? Is that allowed?

It just might be. If your Doctor changed your medication or added some more, even though they are in the same family it should be allowed

What Eddy said is correct, usually a change in the dosage, or medication itself is allowed, but your pharmacist should be able to let you know for sure, since these are controlled substances, it might be different.

The FDA warns that Xanax, and Valium both carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and mood changes.
