Xanax Side Efects After Expiration

some say yes, some say no to using expired meds (XANAX). which is the correct answer??

In respect to Xanax, it does not turn into a dangerous substance, once it is expired, however, it does start to lose potency, so it is likely that it will not be as effective as it was, when it was newly prescribed.

As to other medications, it depends on the specific drug, while most are safe to use and just less potent, like Xanax, there are others that can be dangerous and should be disposed of.
