Would Like An Answer To My Question

I have been taking hydrochlorothiazide for years and i want to know how long it will take to get out of the system. Its a simple question and i see other people have asked the same question and they answer everything but the time frame of how long or about how long it will take to get out of the system.

I also take this for HBP...why are you concerned about getting it out of your system? Before stopping it, consult your doctor for a replacement or your bp may skyrocket and you'll be putting your health in a compromising state.

The medication will be completely out of your system between 25-60 hours. However, the effects from a single dose will wear off in about 12 hours.

It is generally about 5 to 6 half lives for a medication to be fully processed out of your system. So, in this case, that is about 30 to 90 hours, so it may take a few days, according to NIH reports.

The FDA warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
