Woke Up With Black Eye

I woke up with a black eye. Hadn't had any trauma to eye. I've been feeling pain in my stomach and wake each morning with pain. I have lower back pain and doctors can't find anything wrong. My calf muscle get very tight more noticeable in the morning. I feel dizzy in head. Is it possible that xarelto is causing this? I've been on this drug for 2 years and in last six months these symptoms have been occurring. I have an irregular heart beat that's why I am on this drug. I'm seeing my doctor Wednesday and wondered would it be safe to take cartia instead. It's scared me that I have a black eye.

Yes, that can happen to some people that take this medication. You need to see your doctor as soon as possible and most likely will have to switch to a different medication.

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, headache and increased risk of bleeding.
