Withdraw Off Citalopram

Have been told by my GP I have to come off citalopram because manufacturer has withdrawn this drug. Would appreciate if anybody knows about this.

Is there possibly some type of shortage, or something going on in your country?

I know there isn't one here, but I am in the U.S., so I don't know what's relevant elsewhere.

I have done a lot of research and came with the same answer as yourselrf. Can't understand why they would say this.

NOT true. I just talked to my pharmacist yesterday about some issues I have with the generic. She said nothing about it. the brand name is still available also.
