I am on Erythromycin 100s twice per day from my doc. My roommate, has a tooth ache or ear ache or something and wants to take one to "give his immune system a boost" he claims. I Don't think just taking one will do that much good, and it might do harm. I really don't know. Should I give him one?

You are correct, it really isn't going to help and, since it will not be enough to clear up an infection, if one is present, it creates the risk of the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria, which could lead to serious health issues.
Your roommate should see his own doctor, or dentist and get proper treatment for whatever is causing the problem.
