Will Clindamycin Clear A Knot In My Leg?

My staph on my upper inner thought developed a knott about the size of my palm and I have been takin Clindamycin for two days now physically I'm feeling better no more fever but the knot on my leg is not improving any and it draining is it just because it built up in my system before I got the meds I had it for 4 days and been taking the medicine since Sunday? So my question is will the medicine make the knot go away?

It may, or it may not. It really depends on what the knot actually is, for instance, if you developed a cyst from the infection, then it may need to be drained by your doctor, the antibiotic may not make it go away.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
