Will Activated Charcoal Thicken My Blood
UpdatedI'm on nakatonnese but my blood thickened regardless. I suspect it's bentonite clay so I've stopped taking it. I am using activated charcoal to detox - recently extracted amalgam filings. I need to know if activated charcoal will be fine to use

Hello, Malix! How are you?
Actually, what you need to be aware of is that there is no scientific or medical proof that doing these types of detoxes do anything, according to the AMA and NIH.
Your body naturally detoxes itself from such things, that is what your liver is intended to do and, if you've absorbed mercury, or other harmful substances from having amalgam fillings, it is just going to take time for it to leave your body. There is really nothing you can do to speed up or alter the natural process.
And given that you are worried about blood thickening, it would be best not to take anything, even over the counter products, without your doctor's approval.
Are you on any other medications?
My friend had stage 5 kidney failure she was given 3 mos to live and I happen to run into her, told her about the charcoal. After that she regularly took them and here we are. Year later and she completely beat it! Her kidneys are back to normal and she's fine!
The charcoal acted as a filter in her body so that her kidneys didn't have to work as hard and they repaired themselves!
As far as blood goes, yes Im sure it will most likely thicken your blood. So I would recommend drinking lemon water so it will thin your blood out. These are natural substances that won't harm your body.
You see the charcoal acts as a binding agent so it absorbs toxins from your body. That is why they give it to people who have overdosed. I also helps with excess gas, gastrointestinal problems, skin, teeth, and I've found it effective for the common cold as well. It is also the thing that kills any type of mold on contact and spores that it releases.
The most important thing to remember is to drink plenty of water!
