I am a 46 yr old woman not very active (lost 75 lbs), I weigh 310lbs and I have chronic pain. I have been taking anywhere from 90 mg to 120 mg of Oxycodone a day for 8 years. This past 2 months I would take Morphine 30 mg ER pills, a total of 6 of those pills a day only when I ran out of Oxycodone. I usually only take the Morphine as I previously stated, for a week or week and a half out of the month if even that long. The last time I took Oxycodone was 15 days ago & the last time I took the Morphine I believe was 20 days ago. The only thing I have been taking is Suboxone for the past 15 days. So my question is "Will I test positive for Morphine and/or Oxycodone in a drug urine test that I am scheduled to take on Monday" (The day after Christmas)? I am really stressed out about this. I would appreciate some feedback please.

Hi cherish
Although my initial response would be after 15 days your body should have metabolized and excreted the morphine and oxycodone thru the elimination process since traditionally these are not sustained release properties . That said ,many factors are unquantafiable and the method of testing has to be discerned. Others have tested positive for similar substances for longer with a more sophisticated testing protocol but are usually prohibitive because of fiscal constraints.so you should test opiate free but no guarantee.
