Will Buprenorphine Show Up In A Hair Follicle Test?

I'm feeling crushed and defeated. I'm trying to pay the bills and I've been on buprenorphine for years after a terrible accident... I will spare you the details. My point being I'm not a drug seeker, I went through surgery and have chronic pain. I want to work, but the thing is every job seems to want a drug test or hair follicle test. I don't even know if Pizza Hut will hire me. I'm a responsible caring human being... I take my medicine as prescribed.... yet I feel like I have to hide this part of my life because of the stigma attached to this kind of treatment... My primary care doctor dropped me after I told him I was taking this medication? The office didn't say that. I live in a small town... My new doctor is worse, everyone in the office looks at me like I'm a scum-bag, drug-seeker. If you are still with me on this post thank you! I have a family to support, I've put myself back in school to change careers and was working a job I love, the only problem is it's seasonal... I need something steadier and a little higher pay but I'm petrified, lacking the confidence after this experience with my doctors! If they don't understand, why would a potential employer?

Buponophine is an opioid replacement drug- you're ok w follicle tests. Go! If you're nervous bring the prescription ... but you are ok. Truly. It's what is given to addicts to get them off the hard stuff.
