I found a small white pill with a M on one side and a 5 on the other. I was told that it could be morphine. I want to know what it is!!! That way I will know what is going on with my husband??? Someone please help me to find out what this is... This is the 3rd one I have found in the floor this month. I have children and I am very worried that they could have found these pills and not me!!
Having worked in pharmacy for years I can tell you it is not a morphine tablet. Can you describe the pill more? I have an idea what i t may be from the sounds of it, does your husband suffer from high blood pressure?
I realize this is an old post, but since someone has recently replied, I am going to place the pill ID here for others who may be searching for the same thing.
Verwon, do not be so sure with that ID. What do Covidien make under Mallinckrodt label, oftwn simply indicated by M and a number. Personally I have never seen a half strength methylphenidate looking like that. Be more specific. Who makes it? How can you sound so certain with no size info? You must be very careful with ID of potentially very dangerous drugs like methylphenidate, whose effects on both children and adults are so unpredictable that clise monitoring is not just advised but is a requirement.
