White Round Pill Rxp 500

Is auro-metformin blackberry 500mg the same pill as RXP 500mg metformin, just flavored with blackberry?

Hello Betty,

The Auropharma manufacturers page only shows the ingredients for the 500mg metformin and does not list the inactive ingredients. This leads me to believe that the two are the same but one is simply given a blackberry flavoring for those that do not like the medicines bitter taste. Below are the active ingredients.

• Crospovidone
• Magnesium stearate
• Polyethyleneglycol 3350
• Polyvinyl alcohol
• Povidone
• Talc
• Titanium dioxide
