White Round Pill Ip 46

I found 2 pop out round white pills in an old purse. The imprint is IP 46 on one side and the other side is plain. Is it a controlled substance?

Hi Mary,

A round white pill with IP over 46 on one side and blank on the other, reportedly contains 10mgs of Cetirizine hydrochloride; an antihistamine used for allergies. A prescription is sometimes needed, but to my knowledge, Cetirizine is not a controlled substance.

For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Rugby Laboratories and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00536-4088.
