White Round 54 210

LITTLE, WHITE ROUND PILL

I found a small white round pill with 54 on top and 210 underneath that, can anyone email me and tell me what that pill is and another pill I have that is oval and white with the letters and numbers M358 on it, does anyone know what drug this is. Thanks.

The tablet with the 54 210 marking contains 5mgs of Methadone, which is an opiate used to treat pain and drug addiction.

It does have the tendency to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.

And the tablet with the M 358 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, this is a narcotic analgesic.

It may also be habit forming and has similar side effects to those I've listed for the Methadone.

Another note that needs to be added here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose.

There are severe concerns about the dangers of liver damage and failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the toxicity of overdose.

Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and the rest are expected to have it completed by January of 2014. Thus, in the future, please double check and don't just assume that these tablets still contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen.
