My doctor told me that the imprint "10/325" refers to Percocet but it only said 325 on the back and M325 on the front. Is this Percocet?
The Big Orange book describes generics as NOT THE SAME at all and even grades them! Generics use different fillers and those different fillers/binders etc can have a HUGE difference on how your body digests it. I had personal experience with brand name fiorynal and generic, the generic I always had to take 2 to get the same pain killing effect as ONE of the generic type. I always request brand name only. Now they're trying to do something even worse which is prescribe "similars" its all to save the ins co $, they need to stop telling Drs what to do IMO. it's like the fox guarding the hen house.
Yes they are just as potent. It's still oxycodone and acetaminophen, just produced by a different pharmaceutical manufacturer. There is no difference in the chemical structure, or delivery method. ANYTHING with 325mg of acetaminophen as opposed to 500mg, or the big 600mg's, of any opiod, will be absorbed faster as your body is not trying to break down all the extra acetaminophen, hence, your body has more opportunity to absorb more of the opioid.
Is the geniric perc10 M 523 as potient as the yellow ones.
