White oblong shaped pill, scored in the middle with E 282 on one side, is this Toprol xl 50 mg?

Ive been taking Toprol XL 50 mg daily for the past 6 years. It was perscribed to me for my heart, I had experienced unsustained v-tach during my second pregnancy twice, and soon they discovered I had a small heart murmor. I want to get off of it. I recently experienced miscarriage and think it was caused by the Toprol. What is the proper way of tapering off of it?
