White Gel Capsule With No Markings

What type of drug is a small white solid gel cap, with no letters or numbers? It has a faint score line length-wise around middle of the gel cap.

Hello Deb,

Unfortunately it is extremely difficult to identify pills/capsules that have no imprint other than to take them into a lab and have it analyzed. In the United States all medication is required by the FDA to be identifiable through its physical appearance (imprint, shape, color, size, etc.) and because this gel capsule is not marked it makes me believe that it is likely some dietary supplement or vitamin. Something like a fish oil or vitamin E.

If you would like to get rid of the pill you can always go to your local pharmacy or hospital and put it in the drug drop off and they will dispose of it properly.
