My prescription was changed from blue Watson 540 to white Watson 540 pills. However, I felt that the strenght was different from the blue colored Watson . Taking one blue Watson would stop the pain but one white Watson did not work. Does anybody knows if the strength is the same? I can't findi the blue Watson anywhere anymore

my last couple of generic vicodin prescriptions have been very weak.i think they were watsons.dos anyone know the best generic manufacturer .also what pharmacy might carry them. very discouraging to look forward to pain relief and get none.
i just checked their website.NO YELLOW! wow what are you people on here. QUAlitest has a yellow one and they are JUST AS BAD as the new watson are.
I would like to add, after much complaining watson has put out now another yellow, but it not like the 835 yellow, it doesnt work any better then the white.
HAVE THEM TESTED AT DRUGDETECTION . NET PLEASE I CANT AFFORD IT OR I WOULD THERE DEFINATELY IS NOT THE AMOUNT OF HYDROCODONE IN THESE.
Tracy is right!!! I just got my script and had to take almost 3 times the amount to get any pain relief. These new white Watson pills are a joke. I remember the blues ones being a pain to break in half, these new ones feel cheap and crumble when broken in half.
Mia, your prescription want changed, the pill was. So many people are complaining about the lack of pain control with these white ones and I am inclined to agree. They are NOT effective at all for me. Besides not taking care of the pain, they also made me extremely ill. I will not take the Watson brand of lortab anymore no matter the dose! Everyone needs to address this with Watson and the FDA! If we don't things won't change. Getting help with our pain is difficult enough without adding to it with these new pills. When I need to take a narcotic, I expect at least SOME pain relief! Never got it with these pills!
What strength does your pharmacy list on the bottle?
From what's been posted on here, so far they have just removed the dye from the tablets. There are others where it seems they have done this, as well, due to some people being sensitive or allergic to the dyes.
However, the reason I am asking what the pharmacy lists as the strength is due to the fact that the amount of Acetaminophen in these tablets will be changing.
The FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of these combination medications be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs per dose, due to the risk of liver damage associated with long-term use and the toxicity of overdosage.
Some companies have already begun to implement the change and the rest are expected to have it done by January of 2014.
