White Watson 10mg 325 #853 (Page 19)

Updated

I just recieved a new prescription of norco 853 10/325. The last script was yellow and the new ones are white. The pharmacist said that Watson changed the color but the pill is the same, does anyone know if this is accurate?

I can't find Watson anywhere unless I want to pay 138 cash every month. I'm in Missouri I've been taking them for years and work well. Now I have to pay cash. Bull. The other 4 generics I've gotten make me ill and itch Bad. Don't know where to turn. :/

I have been taking hydrocodone 10 for over 15 years, and there is something very different about these new Watson 853s. I get from one national chain and that's the only ones they carry. My husband has a script for the same exact medication, and his insurance requires him to use a specific pharmacy chain, not same one I use. I only use the pharmacy because of the discount and it is $100 cheaper for me to go where I do. But, i have noticed in the last year or more that these pills are not as effective. And I also take ms contin 30 mg. So, I already take a sustained release med, and that's simular to the way these act. And that's not what they are supposed to be. Sometimes, it's like I haven't taken anything at all. End up having to take extra to get relief, and still don't really get any. My husband gets the same medication, just different pharmacy, and they dispense the white ones with 176 imprint. OMG, world of difference with just one. So, there its definitely something up with these. Either there is fillers or they are made to slow release. Either way, that's not right. We need them to do what they are supposed to and work they way they are suppose to.

Go to Walgreens. Never had a problem with them. The pills don't work the same because they cut down on the amount of Tylenol in them. Just take an extra Tylenol it should work.

Wrong-the reasons the white ones don't work is because they cut down on the hydrocodone and then formulated them to metabolize slower. I've been taking the yellow Norco for many years. These new generic white things are a ripoff.

Hi, I was just prescribed these...I took one and got zero relief. It also made me very ill and couldn't sleep. Do you think the dr will prescribe a different one right away?

I have the same issue with the Watson 853; it is like they took all the pain killer out of the tablet. There are some unscrupulous pharmaceutical firms that are making big bucks because these medications have been watered down. There is more that needs and "can be done" about this issue, but it has to be a group effort. {edited for privacy}. Legal action is what is needed to tell big pharmaceutical firms it's time to shape up. Or if you know of any litigation that has already been started please advise.

Yes o feel the same way! My doctor even told me this was true. But they have not stop making the yellow Norco. They are not by Watson they are made by QUAILITEST. I believe they are more stronger and don't make you as sleepy as the white Norco. So I would ask you pharmacy for that brand over the Watson. I have been on Norco for over 6 years. I don't abuse them. I have a disease and major chronic back pain, and a pain the constantly run down the back of my leg. This is from 3 server wreaks I have had. Good luck.

I am taking hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 for severe pain. My doctor did a drug panel and I came up positive for the fentanyl patch. I have never used fentanyl in my life and I didn't know what that was. I need help to clear my name. Can someone give me some advice?

Complain to the FDA. The issue is that none will take the time to do so. They have a medwatch form that can be filled out in 2 minutes. It can be accessed through the article on the Watson recall. If you don't say anything then nothing changes.

Stop going to Walmart. Watson 853 gave me a headache. Something is wrong with these pills.

I thought it was in my head that the Watson white Narco's went working until I read these posts. We can't ALL be wrong. Will find a different manufacturer l! This is a perfect pharmaceutical scam!!!

All you can do is call around, and ask your pharmacies if they still carry the Qualitest brand yellow Norco. I've been playing this pharmacy swap game for the last two years, since the pharmacies started buying the much cheaper and much less effective white ones. It's all about their profit margin. The white ones are garbage, but they're cheaper, and sell for the same as the yellow. If no pharmacy has the yellow ones, which are made by Mallinckrodt, then tell your doctor. I told mine, as my latest pharmacy made the switch to the white ones. He sent me to the hospital pharmacy for the yellow ones. The hospitals pharmacies will still have them as many people get no pain relief from the white ones. If all else fails, ask your Dr. for Percocet 10, instead.

Maybe it's the governments way of getting people off of them; changing the effect of the pill monthly so people no longer want to purchase them. Sooner or later they might just be selling us all sugar pills, wrong - yes.

Never heard of that pill maker. Are you sure their Norco and not some other pain med? I've been taking them for about 20 years straight and have never seen that name on them or any different number. Whats the marking on them? What number?

I went to walgreens to refill my rx and found out they were no longer carrying my normal drug (Watson 853). They decided to stop caring Watson brand and tried to give me some other brand Interpham ip110. BEWARE this brand is 20% less strong than Watson and its does nothing for you but make you sick. Walgreens got cheap and decided to use this brand not caring about their customers. so i had to go back tony dr and change my rx to non generic which cost $ 500 for it. This dam pill does not work and they replied this is what we got if you don"t like it go somewhere else. So after 10 yrs of getting my meds from them I am gonna go to another Pharmacy because to them its all about money, not the customer wants. SO REMEMBER ip110 DOES NOT WORK. I am gonna make a complaint to the FAA. IT'S ABOUT GREED.

You are lucky if you can still get a white oblong Watson 10-325. Wish I could. I get Amneal IP110. Blah! They claim Watson has discontinued them or that the others are cheaper but YOU pay the same co-pay. Wonder why? You can guess the answer to your question pretty well on your own from increased forum responses.

I am grateful to Walgreens for bringing back Watson 10/325. It is so much better than the junk they called Norco. Last month they gave out total junk. I had headaches and was sick to my stomach. Totally junk. I had to get OEM Norco which costs more. So all you pain suffers, be happy and thank Walgreens for bringing back Watson or Actavis and I thank you for your help and for listening to your customers. Your mgnt team is great. Walgreens please keep it on your rx stock. I also have my insurance updated to non generic if they stop carrying Watson. Thank you many times over. I am so grateful.
