Based on the description provided, I found your round white pill to be Terbinafine hydrochloride (250 mg). It is Manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Terbinafine is used to treat fungal infections of the toenail and fingernail. It is in a class of medications called antifungals, and works by stopping the growth of fungi. That's crazy though, how you can find a drug like this in a Xanax bottle!
