White Oblong Pill With I On One Side And 13 On The Other (Top voted first)
UpdatedI picked up my prescription for bupropion HCL XL and noticed the shape and imprint is different than it's ever been. It is an oblong tablet with "I" on one side and 13 on the other. There are no score lines. I'm unable to find it through any search and want to make sure it's the correct medication. Any help is appreciated.

My pharmacy (CVS) just switched mine to Cipla and I've had horrible headaches, felt just overall "unwell" (like I was getting sick) and have had small itchy and painful bumps on my skin.... Wondering if it was the new drug and found this.
It's just a change in Manufacturer. I noticed the difference too today when picking up my prescription. If you go to Cipla USA's website, they have the image and description of the updated pill. Before this one, I had the round pill with A 101 printed on it, but that was manufactured by a different company.
I got the same new generic about 5 days ago. 3 days ago i thought i was getting sick:headache, nauseachills and lightheaded. Kinda felt like a panic attack. Im wondering if its the new generic?
I began taking the Cipla version of Bupropion HCL XL 300mg 4 days ago. Each day I've had a strong, clustered headache; the headache would be minute in the morning and then grow after taking the medication.
In addition, my vision has been a little blurry and I've felt off and fatigued. Nothing else in terms of medications, lifestyle, diet, etc. has changed these past 4 days. Given the timing, I can only assume it's due to the medication.
I've taken 3 generic brands of Wellbutrin XL 300mg in the past, each without issue. This is the first generic that has caused me problems. CVS is going to refill with their remaining supply of Achen (a white pill marked A 102), but I was told that the location would no longer be carrying it. When I inquired over the phone as to whether any locations in the area would continue offering a different generic, I was told I'd have to check each location in person.
If you are having similar side effects as I am, I encourage you to report the medication to the FDA and CVS. I've seen multiple other reports of the same side effects on this forum and elsewhere regarding Cipla's version.
I have been trying to find this same pill I picked up at my pharmacy days ago. My bupropion xl never looked like this. Thank you for finding it. It does have 13 on one side and a strange score on the back. i have found generics are not up to even the slightest bit of quality they use to be!!
I also just got changed to this pill (through CVS), and ever since have been having horrible fatigue and panic attacks. I didn't take it today, just to see if there was a difference, and I feel MUCH better.
I received the new bupropion with the I and 13 imprint about a month ago and I feel horrible. I have headaches and severe fatigue so bad that I sleep all night and half the day too. My husband kept telling me something's wrong all month but I just thought it was a bad PMDD month. Has anyone found a pharmacy that carries the white round pill from the Par pharmaceutical?
I too got this pill and have sharp headache pain when taking
I just found the same pill in my bupropion XL hundred 50 milligram. The pill container has a foil seal over the top I found two of those pills mixed in with the yellow oblong with the number 189 on one side of it. I'm taking it back to the pharmacy to verify because looking it up it could be some kind of potassium pill also.
I switched over from PAR to Cipla (Bupropion 300 mg XL) 3 days ago. Had been taking it for year plus for major depression and doing really well. After switching I had green/yellow flashing visuals, lightheadedness/distant, difficultly concentrating. The next day I had all of that plus a headache and extreme fatigue, and have been sweating/clammy. Had to take a 3+ hour nap (haven't done that in over a year). Emotionally I feel drained and have had to skip activities because I cannot concentrate. Cannot stop crying. This medicine definitely is NOT equivalent to the PAR generic. I've switched back to PAR this morning, but do not yet have any relief.
Here is where you can report problems/symptoms to the FDA. Please do so if you experienced problems after being switched to this brand:

So glad I found this site. The prozac I'm on looks almost identical to this brand. Who decides what generic brand we get, the pharmacy? I got mine refilled this weekend and it's back to yellow. I've had headaches daily and been off par by far. I also am missing my period after taking it for a full 30 days. Crazy. I couldn't determine what pill I was missing once refilling and getting the old yellow one back. So I looked and here we go, and it explains my behavior this month. I almost walked out on my job, this must go.
