I found a half a pill with a cursive v on one side and some numbers on the other side. I think the number 12 was the last 2 digits of a 4 digit number...any one know what this might be?

The stylized V is the logo for Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceutics, but without knowing the rest of the number, it is going to be difficult to narrow down which tablet of theirs this may be.
They make quite a few and there are several that incorporate the number 12 as part of the numbers.
